Televisual Distancing

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Came across this on YouTube.

As Hollywood grapples with billion-dollar losses, it's interesting to see how talk, game, and late-night shows — reali-tv as Chad Raphael put it — tried to chug along without studio audiences, for at least a little while. I'm reminded of the relative economy and profitability with which these programs are produced. Presumably, some very important people at the networks made these decisions to mitigate financial losses at the expense of the crews at work in the studio. But, at the time of my writing this, pretty much everything seems to have suspended physical production.

Have a distant spring break, everyone.
